Polska pomoc - Polish Aid

Medical aid

Episode Summary

Jessica is a short and plump Ugandan. Her wide smile and a penchant for verbosity show that she is full of life. She works as a midwife at a clinic for refugees in the north of the country, where people fleeing from South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo are treated…

Episode Notes

Jessica is happy that thanks to Polish Aid support, women will no longer have to give birth in a tent, but rather in a surgery with a washable concrete floor. While it might seem a simple thing, this change greatly improves the working conditions and the quality of care, writes Jarosław Kociszewski.
